The Daily News reports on Kunstler Law’s latest case:
Seventeen activists, including comedian Randy Credico and the widow of late radical lawyer William Kunstler, filed a lawsuit Tuesday against New York City alleging they were falsely arrested for demonstrating peacefully outside a police station in Brooklyn.
The group was protesting the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk policy, which critics say disproportionately targets minorities, in Brownsville, the neighborhood dubbed “ground zero” of the controversial anti-crime practice.
